WHAT IT’S ABOUT
College can be a great next step. But it isn’t the only one.
Can’t I Just Skip College? explores what can come after high school for people who aren’t convinced that four more years in a classroom is right for them. It looks at alternatives, what those choices require, and how to build a path that actually leads somewhere.
College is one path. Not THE path.
The important question isn’t whether you go to college. It’s what you’re trying to get to.
That might mean an apprenticeship, technical training, certification, military service, starting work, building a business, or another route entirely.
Skipping college doesn’t mean skipping the planning. It means figuring out what you want your next step to accomplish and choosing deliberately.
There’s more than one way forward…
-
College
A two- or four-year degree may be exactly the right route when the career you want requires one, or when college offers the education and experience you’re looking for.
-
Training + Experience
Trade schools, apprenticeships, certifications, and other focused programs can provide skills and experience that lead directly toward a career.
-
Work + Explore
Going to work, taking a gap year, volunteering, or trying internships can give you time and real-world experience while you figure out what fits.
So what comes next?
Can’t I Just Skip College? helps you look beyond the automatic next step and start building one that makes sense for you.
