About Me
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I write books for teens (and the adults trying to guide them) who are overwhelmed, annoyed, confused—or just plain done—with all the “What do you want to be when you grow up?” pressure. I’ve spent years teaching, mentoring, and helping people navigate the messy space between high school and real life, and let me tell you—there are way more paths than anyone’s talking about.
I created *Can’t I Just Stay in My Room?* because I got tired of watching smart, capable young people freeze up when asked to choose a career before they even knew themselves. This book—and the series it’s starting—is for the ones hiding under their blankets, the ones faking confidence, and the ones who feel like they’re supposed to have it all figured out.
Spoiler alert: you don’t. But we can figure it out together.
I’m also a huge Disney fan, love a good omelet, and have a hoodie collection that borders on concerning. Wayfinder is my brand and my mission—helping people find their way, even if they’re not sure where they’re going yet.
